Stand for Advocacy and Awareness

Dpstaff

I remember an instance as a college athlete during morning workouts when the head coach announced the arrest of one of our teammates for sexually assaulting another student the night before. This was both an upsetting and eye opening event for me, as I could not understand how anyone could do that to another person. This moment inspired me to implement sexual assault prevention and education programs at my university, through my fraternity. Through the Take A Stand campaign, we are able to increase awareness of the damaging effects of sexual assault and educate people about prevention methods and available resources.
